Tess has passed away on Feb 13, 2013. She lived a full 14.5 years. We will miss her as she was the reason we got into herding and the farm life.

DeltaBluez Stockdogs (Diane Pagel) is located about 40 minutes east of Seattle, WA in Carnation. We live on a farm with Clun Forest and Katahdin sheep and Border Collies. We also have a Livestock Guardian dogs (Stella and Heidi) and barn cats.
I am a lifetime member of the USBCHA, ABCA and CBCA. I was the Vice-President, President, Past President and a Director for the OSDS. I was a Director for Washington Association of Stockdog Handlers (WASH). I am also available to judge USBCHA trials and AHBA trials. I have qualified Nursery and Open dogs and ran at the USBCHA Sheepdog Finals. I have qualified several dogs over various years for the USBCHA FInals. I also compete in cattledog trials.
I raise, train and compete with my Border Collies in USBCHA (ISDS type) Border Collie trials as well as ASCA and AHBA trials. I am are available during weekend days and one day during the weekend. My students have Border Collies, Aussies, Cattledogs and Kelpies and they compete in USBCHA, ASCA and AHBA trials. I offer a 60 ft round pen, several smaller fields and one 25 plus acre field. I have over 60 sheep so there is fresh sheep all the time. You can work the large mob or as little as three. Additionally, I have cows, ducks and geese to work.
Our foundation stock is from some of the finest breeding in North America as well as from the U.K. We use our Border Collies on the farm and on the sheep and cattle trial circuit. In addition, they have their eyes and hip/elbows tested. They must prove their working ability and have excellent temperaments. Some of my dogs come from working cattle or sheep ranches. They have their DNA CEA tests done as well.
Occasionally, I will have dogs for sale. Please send me an e-mail and I can let you know what is available. I will match the dog to the person to ensure it is a good fit. DeltaBluez Border Collies have won Open sheepdog trials, qualified and ran at the Nursery and Open Cattledog Finals, placed high in the USBCHA Sheepdog Nursery Finals and ran in the USBCHA Sheepdog Open Finals. In the arena trials, they have won many trials and received many High in Trials, High Combined, etc on sheep, cows and ducks. Many of the dogs work at cattle or sheep operations.
